We handle the design and fabrication ourselves. 
All our mosaics are entirely handmade: the smalti, marble and gold tesserae are cut, one by one, with the aid of a hammer and hardie.
For the make-up of the mosaic finish, we use the direct method, whether on a permanent or a temporary backing.
In the former, the tesserae are laid directly on the final surface.  In the latter, on the other hand, the tesserae are arranged on a temporary bed of slaked lime, then bonded onto canvas and stripped off the bed of lime before being laid on the permanent surface.
